Walkill Bethel Recreational Facility
by dontplaceliterature inmy wife and i just visited some friends over the weekend from another congregation.
these two are both full time pioneers, and also participate in various construction projects around the country.
the husband just got back from a 3 week trip to walkill, new york to help with construction on a new residence building at 'the farm' (does anyone call it that anymore?)..

i was surprised to see a letter stating the dc for michigan would be held at the local assembly hall instead of the big convention center in ohio where it had been held the past few years.

when ray finally brought this to light (in crisis of conscience), the gb practically went into radio silence on this subject, then waited only 3 years after ray's death to admit that they consider only themselves worthy enough to hold the fds title.

When Ray finally brought this to light (in Crisis of Conscience), the GB practically went into radio silence on this subject, then waited only 3 years after Ray's death to admit that they consider only themselves worthy enough to hold the FDS title. AAWA ... It's not too late to change the name.... any suggestions?
by Calebs Airplane infirst, i'd like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to cedars, barbara and the rest of the staff who put this together... it's something we all hope will have great success in exposing the watchtower's continuous deception and manipulation.. however, i don't think it's too late to change the name to something less militant or less confrontational.... my humble suggestion is ... pafjw (pacifist association of former jehovah witnesses).

by AndersonsInfo ini've been thinking that the michael norris case makes it clear that an accused jw perpetrator of child sexual abuse, who has been identified, can 'disappear' into another congregation in another place.
in the case of michael norris, it's obvious that the watchtower knew norris was hiding in costa rica where he attended a jw congregation.
so this makes me wonder if anyone still on the 'inside' knows where rick mclean is at present.

becasue russel also started his own cult on a similar premise like this , claiming to have all the answers to issues whose solutions seems obscured to the majority in his days, and here we are today, constantly bashing our fingers on the keyboard in a bid to finding comfort from the mess he had put all of us into.
